New scenic area opens in Baotou

Tourists cycle through Xilamuren Huahai (literally meaning an ocean of flowers) scenic area, which recently opened in Baotou, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, June 30. The scenic area, located in Xilamuren Town, covers an area of 1,000 mu (66.7 hectares). As well as fields of beautiful flowers, it also offers go-karting and hot air balloon rides.
