Eco forum to facilitate cooperation among think tanks

Another sub forum of the Eco Forum Global Annual Conference Guiyang 2018 is scheduled to take place at the Guiyang International Ecological Conference Center on July 7. The news came from a press conference held on July 2.

The forum will focus on deepening cooperation among international think tanks in service of green development. Ecological civilization and green development experts and scholars from both home and abroad will attend the forum and conduct in-depth discussions on how to strengthen cooperation and promote green development.

It is hoped that the discussions will contribute to the construction of an ecological civilization and promote high quality development in Guizhou province.

During the forum, the Guizhou Social Science Association will sign a think tank cooperation framework agreement with the Jiangxi Social Science Association and Fujian Social Science Association and will publish the Think Tank Cooperation Declaration.

Furthermore, the Guizhou Social Science Association will cooperate with the Evaluation Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences to build a practical training base in Guizhou. Afterwards, a collection of papers about the forum will be edited and published.

In recent years, Guizhou province has employed some 800 experts in the fields of climatology, green industries, ecological culture and green economy to research green development in the region.
