The fourth “Summer of Hunhe River” Symphony Festival concluded at Yunyang Pavilion in Shenyang on July 4. The festival plays an important role in boosting the local tourism industry and promoting Shenyang’s city brand.
The event, jointly sponsored by Heping district’s government and the government of Shenyang city, ran from June 25 to July 4.
Tourists and local residents enjoyed the opportunity to enjoy eight symphony performances performed by Liaoning symphony orchestra, Shenyang symphony orchestra, Shenyang ethnic symphony orchestra, the youth orchestra of Northeast University, and the orchestra of Shenyang Normal University.
At the closing ceremony of the fourth “Summer of Hunhe River” Symphony Festival held on July 4, classic performances including The Butterfly Lovers and Symphonie No 8 of Antonín Leopold Dvořák were staged.
