Baotou promotes development of small and micro businesses

A promotion event targeting small and micro enterprises in Baotou city was held in Baotou, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on June 29, attracting the participation of some 2,500 representatives from industry associations, chambers of commerce, small and medium-sized enterprises, and news media, reports Baotou Evening News.

The event, co-hosted by the Financial Work Office of the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the municipal government of Baotou, was presided over by Chen Zhigang, deputy secretary general of Baotou municipal government.

Representatives from Baoshang Bank and China Construction Bank Baotou Branch, gave an introduction on the comprehensive implementation of inclusive finance, and the exploration and innovation of the real economy to facilitate the development of small and micro-sized enterprises.

During the event, representatives of 16 enterprises signed contracts with banking institutions. Banking outlets agreed loans for 803 customers, with a total contract value of 967 million yuan ($146 million).

The event also included a financial product promotion conference where 34 banking financial institutions and 11 insurance companies promoted various financial products and conducted related business consulting services. The conference aimed to set up effective platforms to display financial products, promote credit policy, business exchange and cooperation, as well as financial services consultations.
