Beidou navigation platform launched in Hohhot

China's Beidou Navigation Integrated Application Platform successfully passed operational tests in Hohhot, capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on July 2.

Organized by the Economic and Informatization Commission of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the test was conducted through investigations by experts, results analysis and review.

The platform is a good example of integrated development between economic and national defense, which will help improve cooperation in transforming technological achievements in the defense industry into economic benefits.

The platform will also help push the development and application of the Beidou Navigation Satellite System in Inner Mongolia autonomous region in various sectors, including public security and transportation.
