Shandong Airlines opened flights linking Jiamusi in Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province, and Shenyang, capital city of Liaoning province, to Jinan in East China’s Shandong province on July 3.
The service is operated by a B737 and runs every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday as SC8005/6.
The flight departs Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport at 14:30, stopping in Shenyang for 40 minutes, before arriving in Jiamusi at 18:50. After a 45-minute layover at Jiamusi Dongjiao Airport, the flight lands in Jinan at 0:10 the following day.
The new service is being offered to meet the increasing demand for trade and culture communication among Jiamusi, Shenyang and Jinan.
Jiamusi, located in the east of Heilongjiang province and neighboring Russia, is the economy, trade and transportation centers of eastern Heilongjiang. It’s also a bridge linking Heilongjiang to Russia and the Northeast Asia region.
Shenyang, the layover site of the Jiamusi-Shenyang-Jinan flight, is the center city of the Northeast Asia Economic Rim and the Bohai Economic Rim.
Jinan, capital city of Shandong, is one of East China’s most renowned historic and cultural cities. Jinan is also one of the birthplaces of the Longshan culture, named after Zhangqiu’s Mount Longshan, a late Neolithic civilization inhabiting the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River.
