The first self-service government affairs service center in the Northeast China region started operations on June 28.
The center is an effort by Shenyang government to push forward the development of “internet plus government affairs” service, which is expected to provide convenient services for local residents as it operates 24 hours a day, without the need for constant staffing.
The center is located on the first floor of the government affairs examination and approval service bureau of Heping district.
A total of 14 self-service devices covering the departments of administration examination and approval, public security, traffic police, medical insurance and banking, are situated in the 180-square-meter service center.
Residents will have access to around 200 services including business registration, engineering, construction, education, geriatric nursing, medical services, culture and religion in the self-service center.
