Huanjiang 'National Literature' creation base unveiled

The unveiling ceremony for the Huanjiang "National Literature" creation base of the China Writers Association (CWA) was held in Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county, Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on June 30.

This is the first time that a national-level literary publication has established a creation base in Huanjiang. The base will aid in the development of literature and art in the region.

"National Literature" is the only national-level ethnic minority literature journal. It provides strong support for minority writers, publishing novels, poetry, proses and critic essays.

Over 30 people attended the unveiling ceremony, including Shi Yining, editor-in-chief of "National Literature", Shi Caifu, vice chairman of the Federation of Literature and Art in Guangxi and other representatives from CWA, "People's Literature", and the Hechi writers association.
