Intl flower exhibition brings delight to Yangzhou crowds

An international flower exhibition opened at the Slender West Lake scenic spot in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province on July 1, showcasing verdurous lotus and water lilies. 

This year's event, which will run from July 1 to Sept 20, has set a new record of displaying over 630 kinds of lotus and water lilies. 

The flowers are grown pots and plastic containers, and also have their names clearly presented for the interests of flower lovers.

Various activities, such as comedy shows, night tours and handicraft classes, are also available at the park throughout the summer.
