International hospital project underway in Baotou

Baoyi International Hospital Project is progressing smoothly with the first five floors of the outpatient building and the first eight floors of the ward building already complete, according to Jiuyuan district’s development and reform bureau.

The project, located in the southwest of the center of Xindushi district, is being carried out in two phases.

The total planned construction area is 220,000 square meters, of which, the first phase involves an area totaling 128,000 square meters where 1,000 beds will be placed.

The hospital will be a non-profit medical institution integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention, healthcare, rehabilitation and first aid. It will have a total of 2,000 beds to meet the medical needs of patients.
