Chinese e-bike-sharing titan Songguo Chuxing has pedaled its way to Nanyang, with 360 electric bicycles being introduced in Neixiang county on June 28.

People who wish to use the shared e-bikes need to register their names and pay a deposit of 299 yuan ($45) on the mobile app. They can then catch a ride by simply scanning a QR code on the bike.

The fee will be two yuan if the bike is ridden less than four kilometers, and every additional kilometer will cost 0.5 yuan. Once the bike is rented for longer than half an hour, the rider will have to pay an additional 0.1 yuan per minute.

There are fixed pick-up/drop-off points for the e-bikes spread throughout the county, especially near working, residential and shopping areas. Residents can find them with the help of a map in the mobile app.
