The first pair of high-speed railway trains that link Changsha, capital of Hunan province, with Zhanjiang, Guangdong province, began operating on July 1, slashing travel time between the two cities from 17 hours to six.
Every day, train G6127 departs from Changsha South Railway Station at 8:00 am. It passes through Zhuzhou, Hengyang, Chenzhou, Guangzhou, Xinhui, Taishan, Enping, Yangjiang, and Maoming, and arrives at Zhanjiang West Railway Station at 2:05 pm.
For the return trip, train G6128 leaves Zhanjiang at 2:30 pm and reaches Changsha at 8:36 pm.
Tickets for business-class, first-class and second-class seats are priced at 1,738 yuan ($262), 891 yuan and 564 yuan, respectively.
