Shenyang symphony festival opens to public

The fourth “Summer of Hunhe River” Symphony Festival was unveiled at Yunyang Pavilion in Shenyang on June 25. The festival is expected to be an important event in boosting the local tourism industry and promoting Shenyang’s city brand.

The event, jointly sponsored by Heping district’s government and the government of Shenyang city, runs from June 25 to July 4.

Tourists and local residents will have the opportunity to enjoy eight symphony performances performed by Liaoning symphony orchestra, Shenyang symphony orchestra, Shenyang ethnic symphony orchestra, the youth orchestra of Northeast University, as well as the orchestra of Shenyang Normal University.

At the opening ceremony of the fourth “Summer of Hunhe River” Symphony Festival held on June 25, classic performances involving “Jasmine Flower”, “My Motherland” and sida mingzhu were staged.
