Hisense,the home appliance and electronics maker based in Qingdao, Shandong province, launched its new artificial-intelligence (AI)-enabled smartphone, the Hisense H20, on June 26.
At the product launch, vice-general manager of Hisense, Ma Xiaohang, said that the Hisense H20 is more than just a cell phone, it is in fact more like a personal assistant.
The new handset promises fresh, exciting AI features; including the ability to take high-resolution photos, translate text and recognize voices.
The Hisense H20 also comes with an intelligent button, which allows users to conveniently use many functions such as opening apps and reading e-books through the click of just one button.
The speech recognition technology enables users to send WeChat messages without opening the application. When driving, users will be able to use the cellphone hands-free through its intelligent voice function.
The phone can also improve parameters in photo shooting and video recording, as well as having 6GB RAM/128GB internal storage for users to save their data.
The newly-developed smartphone is priced at 2,599 yuan ($406) to keep it affordable for young people.
