Hohhot seeks partnership with CAS

The Hohhot government declared its intention to work with the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) at a symposium in Beijing on June 27.

Feng Yuzhen, mayor of Hohhot, met with Wu Jianguo, executive vice-president of the Beijing Branch of CAS, during the symposium for discussions regarding the development of Hohhot's personnel training and innovation service platform.

The Beijing branch of CAS will aggregate resources to aid Hohhot as it turns its technological achievements into market value, said Wu Jianguo, adding that the Beijing Branch will enrich its partnership with Hohhot as they strive for economic growth driven by innovation.

At the symposium, Feng Yuzhen spoke highly of the Beijing branch's contributions to the technology sector and expressed his hope for mutual technological growth and innovation.

The Hohhot government will provide consistent policy support to provide an environment conducive to the introduction of additional technological resources, Feng stressed.
