Dahua improves rural financial environment

As of May this year, 61 ATM machines and 625 POS machines have been installed in 16 townships in Dahua Yao autonomous county, Hechi, as well as 144 convenient payment service points which benefit farmers.  

The convenient payment service points aim to improve and optimize financial payment services in rural areas, accelerate economic growth, and improve quality of life.

Local farmers can now performs cash withdrawals, deposits and transfers through the service points, saving them the hassle of traveling to town.

Dahua has processed a total of 65,700 transactions worth 87.61 million yuan ($13.24 million) in the five months since the service points were established.

The rural credit cooperative of Dahua has taken actions to expand its services, providing farmers with agricultural support, subsidies and other financial services.

Dahua has also promoted mobile banking, online banking and short message services.
