Changsha county is eager to attract talented people from Hong Kong, with a cooperation agreement being signed between a group of PhD holders from Hong Kong and the Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone on June 24.
The agreement is expected to help experts take full advantage of their professional skills and promote local economic development.
A delegation consisting of 50 doctoral students, researchers and excellent young students from six Hong Kong colleges and universities recently paid a visit to the economic development zone. The students hailed from universities such as the University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

After touring local industrial parks and factories, including Sany Group, Bosch Automotive Products (Changsha), and Goke Micro-Electronics, they were allowed a glimpse into the vigorous development of Changsha's engineering, intelligent manufacturing and electronic information industries.
These experts also held meetings with a dozen well-known local enterprises and compared notes on employment, scientific research, entrepreneurship and internships.

Changsha enterprises expressed their interest in recruiting these talented people.
According to the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Changsha, enterprises in the Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone were the delegation's favorite among the seven industrial parks they visited during their four-day stay.
