Pingtan to add another high-end hotel

Pingtan is set to add another high-profile hotel, as the Beauty Crown Straits International Tourism City Hotel, is due to open at the end of next month, according to senior management with the project.

Situated near the Tannan Bay, a renowned attraction in the island city, the hotel has entered the final stage of construction, said vice general manager of the Beauty Crown (Pingtan) Co.

With its hall and guest rooms undergoing a thorough cleaning, the main body of the hotel has almost finished construction, he said.

Meanwhile, the construction on the conference center, which covers more than 3,000 square meters, has also come toward the completion, leaving its ceiling lights and wall lamps still under adjustment.

The new hotel will boast 394 parking spaces, 78 above the ground and 316 underground, said the manager.

"As the construction is approaching completion, recruitment work has been underway," he said, adding that the hotel is scheduled to open to the public at the end of July.

The hotel, part of the Beauty Crown Straits International Tourism City, is the largest tourism complex under construction in Pingtan.

With an investment of 10 billion, the project covers one million square meters. Apart from hotels, it shall also include restaurants, shopping malls, duty-free shops and numerous leisure and entertainment facilities as planned.
