The CHTF 2018 in Sweden
The sub-event of the CHTF 2018 in Sweden started with welcoming remarks by Gao Guohui, former vice secretary-general of the CHTF Organizing Committee and Olle Zetterberg, CEO of Stockholm Business Region.
The event also served as a platform for companies, business associations and innovation centers from China and Sweden to exchange insights.
Chen and the Chinese delegation also visited the Stockholm Smart City and certain key projects in urban development, learning about the advanced practices of Sweden's capital in building a smart city. He also met with Stefan Hansson, vice mayor of Stockholm, who showed a strong interest in future cooperation with Shenzhen.

Stefan said that Stockholm has become an attractive location for growth companies and innovative organizations because of a favorable environment to innovation; like Shenzhen, Stockholm is an international metropolis with huge potential for bilateral cooperation. He also proposed the launch of direct flights between the two cities.
"Shenzhen is also on the rise at a remarkable speed. It is now attaching great importance to building a healthy economic structure and a well-balanced industrial layout. We have close cooperation with the Karolinska Institute and value a development that is green and sustainable," said Chen.
