Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park opens in Shanghai

The first stage of Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park, located in the north of Songjiang New City, Shanghai, commenced trial operations on June 26.

The 56.7-hectare park holds preserved relics from the Neolithic Age to the Eastern Zhou Dynasty (770-256 BC). Discovered in 1958 by local villagers, the site has yielded an abundance of precious ancient artifacts.

The park now boasts a variety of attractions, including a memorial hall for Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) hero Chen Zilong, Guangfulin relics, a cultural exhibition hall, the famous Fulin Pagoda and a pottery museum.

The park provides visitors with an opportunity to experience an ancient farming culture and enjoy a beautiful rural landscape.

Opening hours: 9 am-7 pm

Ticket Price:

Type A Tickert (includes Guangfulin Cultural Exhibition Hall):

Weekdays: 40 yuan ($6) per adult; 20 yuan ($3) for children and seniors.

Weekends and holidays: 50 yuan ($7.50) per adult; 25 yuan ($3.75) for children and seniors.

Type B Ticket (excludes Guangfulin Cultural Exhibition Hall):

Weekdays: 30 yuan ($4.50) per adult; 15 yuan ($2.25) for children and seniors.

Weekends and holidays: 40 yuan ($6) per adult; 20 yuan ($3) for children and seniors.
