An Inner Mongolia creative culture expo was held in Fiji in the South Pacific Ocean, from June 18 to 22, garnering great interest among local residents.
The expo was hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Government of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and organized by the region’s Culture Department and the China Cultural Center in Fiji.
During the five-day expo, more than ten creative products including ethnic Mongolian costumes, anime products and leather paintings were displayed and several Inner Mongolian-style art performances were staged in the cities of Suva and Nadi.
According to Wu Shaojun, deputy director of the Inner Mongolia culture delegation, these activities helped promote Inner Mongolian culture among Fuji residents and deepened mutual exchanges and cooperation in the creative culture industry.
A prestigious overseas Chinese resident in Fiji, Yuan Zhiguang, said that the expo was a success judging from the participants' excited expressions and further was beneficial for forging friendly relationship between Fuji and China.
