DUFL holds intl cultural festival

The fourth International Cultural Festival opened at Dalian University of Foreign Languages June 22, providing a multisensory cultural feast for both Chinese and foreign students.

The festival set up 20 exhibition areas, including 11 especially for countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

International students from 26 countries, including Russia, France, Japan, Thailand, Italy and Pakistan, took part in the event, showcasing nearly 100 types of food, handcraft items and clothes from their home countries.

An awards ceremony for an international students’ photography competition was held alongside the festival. Hundreds of works by international students from eight universities in Dalian were on exhibition, presenting the beautiful scenery of Dalian through their eyes.
