Wang Xiaotao, chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), attended and gave a speech at the master’s graduation ceremony at the Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development (ISSCAD), held on June 24.
China announced plans to establish an institute of South-South cooperation and development at the summit of the 70th anniversary of the United Nations in September 2015.
The new institution aims to sum up the successful experience of China and other developing countries in governance and educate high-end talents in government management for developing countries, an important step China has taken to promote South-South cooperation and common prosperity.
