A new concept portable toilet featuring “zero emission” made its debut in the 29th Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair (HTF), which was held from June 15 to 19.
The toilet was launched by an environmental protection product manufacturing company in Harbin, which took advantage of biodecomposition technology originally developed by Harbin Institute of Technology.
Water injected in the toilet gets recycled without having to flush from time to time. Meanwhile, the whole dealing process, involving decomposition, filtration, discoloration, purification, and disinfection will not produce any stink or cause any pollution.
Automatically controlled by the system, the toilet also does not need to be maintained by specially-assigned persons, which not only saves time but also reduces operation costs.
The toilet attracted many businesses to seek cooperation opportunities and sign deals during the five-day exhibition.
