Baotou issues first electronic business license

Baotou city’s first paperless electronic business license was issued by Qingshan district’s market supervision administration on June 19, reports Baotou Daily.

The electronic business license was issued to Inner Mongolia Yidian Chuangtou Consulting Management Co, a company based in Baotou Internet Plus Innovation and Entrepreneurship Industrial Park.

The software for the electronic business license was researched and developed by the State Administration for Market Regulation.

It can be displayed on a variety of devices, including cellphones and other mobile terminals. It will reduce security risks and make carrying a license more convenient for license holders. It has multiple functions including electronic signatures and identity authentication.

Companies can now conduct their business without having to show paper business licenses.

The new licenses will be officially promoted and applied throughout the city.
