Deng Boqing welcomed Zhu Xian to the CIDCA. He said the establishment of the agency is a major step taken by the Chinese government in safeguarding world peace and promoting common development. Without any political strings, China's foreign assistance is aimed at advancing the economic and social development of the recipient countries to enhance their ability to develop independently. The agency will work with the bank to strengthen communication and exchanges, to explore cooperative areas of common interest, and to jointly promote the development of the Belt and Road Initiative as well as build a community with a shared future for mankind.
Zhu Xian congratulated Deng on the establishment of the agency and said that the bank, since its founding, has actively supported the infrastructure and sustainable development of the BRICS countries. The bank is ready to strengthen exchange and explore cooperation with the agency to help fellow developing countries with their infrastructure and advance the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
