China Railway Shenyang Co will add 31 trains to its existing services to Shenyang, capital of Liaoning province, Dalian, Dandong, Lingyuan and Changchun, to meet the rise in travel demands seen during the Dragon Boat Festival holidays, June 15 to 18.
Sitting in the Shenyang area – Shenyang Railway Station, Shenyang North Railway Station and Shenyang South Railway Station –accommodate about 420,000 passengers over the four-day period with an average flow of 105,000 passengers per day.
Peak passenger flow is anticipated for June 15, with 130,000 predicted to travel through the region by train.
