Dalian Port officially became the only transshipment base for Toyota cars in Northeast China, as 295 vehicles arrived at the port on June 5.
Since the trial operation started on Nov 3, 2017, the port’s automobile dock has made great efforts to meet the client’s demands, including installing new hardware and upgrading software.
It finished the transshipment of 3,157 Toyota cars with high efficiency during the trial period, winning great approval from Toyota.
The launch of the new transshipment service is a significant step for Dalian Port in expanding its business in the country’s coastal area. Annual throughput of the transshipment facility is projected to reach 40,000 vehicles.
