The 5th International Conference on Multi-functional Materials and Structures is being held at Shenyang University of Chemical Technology of Shenyang, Northeast China’s Liaoning province from June 8 to 13.
Initiated in 2008, the conference had respectively been held in Hong Kong, Qingdao in East China’s Shandong province, Jeonju in South Korea and Bangkok in Thailand.
Currently, it has developed into a famous academic communication platform in the sectors of materials science and engineering.
This year’s conference involves the topics of smart materials, reinforcement materials, nanostructures and nanomaterials, biomaterials and biomimetic materials, as well as materials processing technology.
Around 300 experts and scholars from 20 countries and regions, including those from the United States, England, New Zealand, Australia, Italy, South Korea and Iran, will deliver speeches on the cutting-edge research achievements and the latest industry development trends at 140 academic reports and seminars.
The conference is jointly sponsored by the Shenyang government, the science and technology bureau of Shenyang, Shenyang University of Chemical Technology of and Madrid Institute of Advanced Materials.
