Design as Life, a new exhibition under the Chinese Culture and Tourism Ministry's "China Week: Inheritance and Innovation" project, opened at the China Cultural Center in Malta on Friday, putting on show cultural products designed by artists from Taiwan.
More than 20 creative products are featured, ranging from furniture and package designs to digital and animation designs. In the exhibition's workshop, visitors can create their own designs via the technique of screen painting.
Addressing some 40 attendees from both China and Malta at Friday's opening, Wang Yanjun, head of the China Cultural Center, said the items will help present the shift from "Made in China" to "Creativity in China" in the development process of China's cultural sector.
The exhibition runs through June 15.
