Baotou school designated as national volleyball talent base

Baotou No 1 Senior High School was designated recently as a national high-level volleyball reserve talent base by the Volleyball Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sports, reports Xinhua.

It is the only senior high school in Inner Mongolia autonomous region to gain that honor.

The school relies on strong education experience and characteristic education to cultivate a high-level girls volleyball team.

With the team members’ diligence and skills, the school volleyball team has won autonomous region-level and national-level honors, including being the top volleyball team for senior high school girl students in Inner Mongolia since 1993 and winning the championship at the National Sports Meeting for Middle and Senior High School Students in 2002, 2009 and 2011.
