Qunli music fountain makes preparations for official performances

A new music fountain in Qunli Jinhe Park, Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang province, conducted its first trial run June 5 in preparation for an official performance scheduled for around June 12.
The fountain, which covers 16,000 square meters, uses a large computerized multimedia performance system based on the most advanced design and manufacturing technologies in China.
The system has 1,849 spray-heads, 656 water pumps and 2,259 underwater LED lights. The height of the main fountain will reach as high as 100 meters when it commences performance.
Currently, the fountain is undergoing early tests.
