Ordos’ artistic charm amazes ancient city of Xi’an

Local residents greatly enjoyed a distinctive artistic show put on by performers from the city of Ordos in Inner Mongolia autonomous region at Shaanxi Grand Theater in the ancient city of Xi’an, May 31.

The performance was part of Ordos'road show to Xi’an aimed at promoting the city to residents of Xi’an.

The evening gala was composed of various distinctive artistic forms, demonstrating special cultural elements in Ordos, including Mongolian bowling dance, Ordos long tune (a special musical form in Ordos) and khoomei (a traditional Mongolian throat-singing technique).
