Pupils learn about the water cycle at Baotou city’s Environmental Protection and Education Center, June 5. The center is the first comprehensive science popularization base for the development of environmental education in Inner Mongolia autonomous region. It has six exhibition areas including Baotou Impression and Our City, integrating scientific knowledge and interactive experiences. At present, the center receives more than 40,000 visitors per day. The center has been listed as part of the sixth batch of national environmental science popularization bases by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
