Qingshan district marks regional development

The general public budget of Baotou’s Qingshan district reached 1.992 billion yuan ($311 million), accounting for 50.11 percent of the district’s annual target, according to a June 5 Baotou Daily report.

The figure represented year-on-year growth of 32.27 percent.

Fiscal revenue of the general public budget was 921 million yuan.

Projects and industries are key to the regional development of the district. This year, Qingshan district plans to implement 76 key projects with investment of more than 100 million yuan, including 40 new construction projects and 36 continuation projects.

The total planned investment is 56.5 billion yuan, and the planned investment for this year is 17 billion yuan. It is expected that all work will be resumed by the end of June and that more than 30 projects will be completed in 2018.
