Shenyang builds comprehensive transport network

The Shenyang government plans to build a comprehensive modern transportation network to expand the opening-up of the capital of Liaoning province. 

Shenyang will strengthen railway links with cities involved in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) in support of China-Europe freight train operations. Initiated by the development of the Russia-Mongolia-China Economic Corridor, a rail network connecting Russia, Mongolia and China will also be built.

Shenyang will also increase Taoxian International Airport’s handling capacity. Flights to Frankfurt will be resumed and new international routes to such cities as Los Angeles will commence operation.

Shenyang Port Group is accelerating its restructuring, linking with the Dalian online logistics platform. Shenyang port is advancing its construction projects to better handle imported medicines and fresh food.
