Sci-tech carnival opens in N China's Baotou

A science and technology carnival took place in Baotou, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region on May 26, attracting participation by teenage science and technology enthusiasts, reports Baotou Daily.

The carnival, hosted by Baotou Science and Technology Association, is part of Baotou city’s Science and Technology Week, and is aimed at promoting scientific knowledge and awareness.

It is the first time that Baotou city has organized a science and technology carnival.

More than 20 activities in four categories –– science and technology competitions, science and technology exhibitions, sports competitions, and games –– were held during the carnival.
