The Entrepreneurship Guidance Center targeting college and university students currently acts as an incubator for 247 companies which were set up by college and university graduates, as well as seven newly-established companies, according to a May 30 Baotou Daily report.
The statistics cover the period up to and including the end of April.
At present, the center holds 21 independent intellectual property rights and provides employment for more than 1,700 people.
The center, located in Baotou Rare Earth High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, has 40 enterprise mentors, with four working as national-level enterprise mentors and five as autonomous region-level enterprise mentors.
