19,493 Baotou students to sit gaokao

A total of 19,493 Baotou students are to sit the gaokao, also known as the National College Entrance Exam. This year’s exam is due to start on June 7 and will last two days, according to Baotou Daily.
The exam is held annually and is considered one of the most important exams in China. Many regard the test as having the potential to change a person’s life.
