Shui Han Ma Tou performed in Baotou

A ballet named Sui Han Ma Tou (Port City) is staged in Baotou, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region. Performances of the show took place on May 24 and 25. The director and dancers are all cast members of the National Song and Dance Theater of Baotou. The ballet, funded by China National Arts Fund, depicts events that took place during the Republic of China period (1912-1949) and shows the close ties between the Mongolian and Han peoples.
