Membership-based e-commerce and travel retail company GDFS has opened its first experience store in Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
The store, covering an area of 400 square meters, enables consumers to try out luxury goods before purchasing them from duty free stores worldwide, via the GDFS website.
According to Chen Qiangan, the manager of the store in Hohhot, it is the company's ninth experience store in China.
Product categories available to browse and purchase in the store include beauty and cosmetic items, fragrances, fashion and leather goods, accessories and electronics.
GDFS, which has offices in Beijing and Hong Kong, collaborates with luxury brands, wholesalers, and service partners to offer high-quality duty-free products to travel retailers operating in airport duty free shops throughout the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
