Vincent Price, president of Duke University in the US, visited the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA) on May 24.
Zhang Jianguo, administrator of SAFEA, met with the delegation, and introduced SAFEA's institutional reform, overseas training, introduction of foreign experts, and implementation of talent visa policies in recent years.

Since 2004, Duke University has worked closely with SAFEA to jointly implement the "Public Management and Public Policy" training program that has achieved positive results. It has played a beneficial role in raising the competency level of public servants and the ability of government administration.
Zhang emphasized that China will further strengthen its opening-up policy, and SAFEA will further expand cooperation with Duke University.

President Price said that Duke University attaches great importance to the role of talents. Duke University cherishes the cooperative relationship with SAFEA. In the future, it will continue to strengthen personnel exchanges and provide high-quality training courses for China, especially in Duke University's advantageous areas such as environmental protection, medical care, and public policy.
