The Iron Kids China Tournament commenced in Hohhot on May 27 for the second time, attracting nearly 300 children to compete in the mini-triathlon.
Divided into three age groups – 3-5, 6-11 and 12-15 – the children faced age-appropriate challenges and race lengths.
Organized by Hohhot sports bureau, Hohhot Athletic Association and Wanda Group in accordance with international Iron Kids standards, the Iron Kids Series, licensed by the World Triathlon Corporation, usually separates competitors into age-appropriate swimming, biking and running race divisions.
