Changsha moves forward in developing intelligent manufacturing

Changsha county recently called on local enterprises and individual businesses to sign up with the Changsha Industrial Cloud Platform by June 20 in a bid to build the city into a national intelligent manufacturing center.

In July 2017, the Changsha government, the sponsor of the cloud platform, released a three-year action plan to build the Central Chinese city into a national hub of intelligent manufacturing.

Based on the idea of an internet plus advanced manufacturing industry, the platform focuses on providing services of application, information and government affairs.

By registering with the cloud platform, Changsha companies could cut down costs for information technology rooms, equipment operations and maintenance.

At the same time, the platform will offer its members production data and help monitor their operations including the location and any malfunctioning of equipment.

Enterprises can publish demand and supply information, get easy access to government notices and deal with government affairs online.
