Mobile nursing station adopted in Suixi

Zhanjiang's first "mobile nursing station" was put into use at Suixi County People's Hospital on May 25, emerging as an efficient and high-tech way of providing quality patient care while staying within budget.

The "mobile nursing station" is an intelligent system which uses Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) and a 4G wireless network to carry out real-time data collection and synchronization. It can be used for patient identification, information query, nursing process recording, and vital sign collection.

The system allows medical staff to get closer to the bedside while still being able to view critical patient data. With a digitalized workflow, it can help the hospital increase work productivity, reduce errors, and ensure the safety of patients.

Up next, this mobile nursing station will also be promoted in other Zhanjiang medical institutions.
