The Discover Wuxi orienteering challenge, part of the city's Netizens Public Sports Conference, led 3,000 challengers through a city-wide route on May 27.
Participants worked in teams of five to complete missions and finish a designated travel route, with winners receiving medals and prizes.

Four routes wound through the city's old department stores, industrial parks, tourist attractions and public cultural spots, including Wuxi iPark, Qingming Bridge Scenic Area, and Muguiying Pastry Food, a renowned bakery.
Participants were required to complete assigned tasks upon arrival at control points, with a quiz, a guessing game, card searches, and tasks requiring them to retrieve and deliver items between multiple locations.
Along with walking and running, participants were permitted to travel via public transportation (buses, the metro and shared bicycles) to promote fitness and a low-carbon lifestyle in the city.
