Baotou Ocean World wins city-level honor

Baotou Ocean World was awarded as a city-level demonstration base for learning and tourism at an award ceremony held on May 24, reports Baotou Daily.

Baotou Ocean World opened to the public on July 28, 2017. It covers an area of 30,000 square meters and is home to more than 1,000 species of fish.

It was chosen as a city-level demonstration base for science education in January 2018. It is the only demonstration base in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region that focuses on marine life.
