Harbin residents honored at annual awards ceremony

The “2017 Moving Harbin” awards ceremony was held at Harbin Broadcasting & TV Station on May 24.

Liu Chunrong, Tu Hongsen, Li Yanxi, Hao Liying, Li Zhiming, Wu Jinming, Zhang Guangtao, Wang Lanjiang, and Jiang Chengwei were awarded the “2017 Moving Harbin” award; while the Harbin border checkpoint and petition inspection center were awarded an annual team award.

The prizewinners hailed from a variety of backgrounds, with judges, teachers, farmers, volunteers, workers and soldiers all winning awards. 

Winners of the awards were praised for their dedication, kindness and positive attitudes toward life.

Beginning in 2005, “Moving Harbin” has been held for the past 13 years. It is serves as a platform for the city to promote and reward a sense of social responsibility among its residents.
