"The SCO has been playing a positive role since its establishment in regional stability and the economic growth of member states and neighboring countries. As a citizen of Kazakhstan, I feel so proud of my country for its active membership of the SCO."
Ante, an employee from Kazakhstan of Shandong Kerui Group, is an engineer responsible for meeting and dealing with overseas customers. Kazakhstan is the first foreign country Kerui Group launched operations in.
According to Ante, Kerui established its first overseas subsidiary in 2004 in Alma-Ata.
"With the development of its business, many local people learned about Kerui as well as the economic and technical strength of Shandong."
Attracted by the amount of companies with enormous potential and the warmth and integrity of the locals, Ante came to Shandong in 2009.
In his eyes, Shandong is a wonderful, thriving place rich in culture.
"I am fascinated with Chinese culture, specifically Qilu culture, as it enjoys such a time-honored history. The Confucianism cultivated in Shandong has a far-reaching influence on China's development. I have become a better person through learning Confucian culture, as it has given me insights into morality and ethics. Shandong people are incredibly friendly and kind-hearted and help me a lot in both work and life. Speaking in Shandong dialect, Shandong people are all very zhangyi, which means being loyal to friends."
He is very much looks forward to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit that is to be held in Qingdao in June 2018.
"I believe it will be a great chance for China, Kazakhstan and other member states to strive for win-win cooperation. I hope Kerui can take this opportunity to further develop as a company."
