Art exhibitions were organized to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Daur Autonomous Banner of Morin Dawa and Ewenki Autonomous Banner at Inner Mongolia Art Gallery in Hohhot on May 23.
It highlights the splendid natural scenery and inherited ethnic customs of the two banners, with the purpose of boosting the local economy by attracting more people to travel.
The exhibitions include ethnic calligraphy, paintings and photographs, demonstrating diverse ethnic cultures, ethnic languages, a variety of primitive lifestyles, and colorful forms of music and art.
It has been reported that the establishment celebration of the two banners will continue. From June 5 to 9, the Beijing National Cultural Palace will hold a series of exhibitions focusing on the 60th anniversary of the founding of Ewenki Autonomous Banner, following with an assortment of singing and dancing performances.
